I grew up in Bexley (OH) and graduated from the Columbus School for Girls. After attending Wake Forest University, I returned to Columbus and began teaching at the Columbus Academy. I married my high school sweetheart, Ted, and together we have two children. Our family lived in Columbus for a few years, then moved to San Diego (CA), before settling overseas in Barcelona, Spain. We have been in Spain for 15 years, although we now split our time between Spain and Columbus. Our kids are grown and flown, living in New York City and Jacksonville, FL.

I love reading, philosophical and theological discussions, eating out, non-competitive exercise, remodeling, and travel. I’m a genuinely curious person, and I hope to be a life-long learner.

Special Skills: I love to organize, declutter, and donate. I have moved over 20 times in my adult life, which has taught me the importance of mindful ownership. If I’m going to move an item dozens of times, I either love it, need it, or use it.
