Born in Oklahoma, I grew up in Grandview Heights, went to OSU because my father was a professor/dean.  With degrees in Chemical Engineering and a MBA, I have had 2 careers: 40 years with major processed food companies leading R&D: 20 years and still going at OSU, teaching such exciting subjects as statistics, operations management, product development. I also oversee the operators of a family partnership, which owns ranchland cattle and farms that have been in the family for over 120 years.
